QBE’s Stunning Multi-Level Tectonic Fitout
Showcasing the quality of Jfk Interiors Australia commercial capabilities is the delivery of premium bespoke joinery at QBE Insurance Head Office at Docklands alongside builder SHAPE and architect Group GSA. The fit-out over three-floors was a WELL certified project within a new-build tower located at 839 Collins St Docklands.
The architectural brief called for a series of wellness strategies as part of QBE’s mission to achieve a WELL ‘Ready’ culture across all of their new workplace projects.
With the large open floor plates in Docklands there was an opportunity to morph spaces in tune to the workplace needs, creating an assortment of tectonic forms for closed meeting rooms, open team huddles & social spaces to the open plan team bases with a myriad of retreat & escape spaces to focus or innovate.
The team from Jfk Interiors Australia once again delivered results without peer on this complex project which spanned multiple floors – a flagship project in the commercial office sector, where Jfk Interiors maintains a long history as market leaders.

Requiring extensive commercial experience and capabilities to delivery on an array of bespoke joinery work, the project included a range of kitchens, tall storage units, credenzas, benchtops, wall paneling throughout, upholstered seating and boardroom joinery - just to name a few. Materials across the project were also very diverse and reflected the complex yet exciting nature of the project.
All up when finished the project involved more than 4000 hours of joinery works.
As always, JFK Interiors Australia delivered on time and on specification, as we look forward to the more opportunities to work with our valued clients and partners.
