With a successful history of joinery project works for Carey Baptist Grammar School, Jfk Interiors Australia were engaged to deliver the joinery component by builder Monaco Hickey and achieved outstanding results in one of our many areas of commercial joinery expertise – the Education Sector, where we maintain a long history as market leaders.

This premium project at one of Melbourne’s leading schools’ required extensive joinery experience and capabilities with a wide array of bespoke joinery work including lockers, kitchen fit-outs, teacher offices, art and theatre storage, WC mirrors, reception areas, boardroom, industrial glass display cabinets, science room tables and custom wall paneling - to name just a few...

Materials were also very diverse and reflected the complex yet exciting nature of the project.   Materials worked with to compete the project included steel, hydraulic lifting equipment, laminate, chemical resistant laminate, glass, birch ply, upholstery, timber veneer, white-boards and mirrors.

Our 25 years commercial joinery experience combined with utilising the latest technology gives us the opportunity to contribute and add value to our projects and partners. This was demonstrated with the use of robust material alternatives such as pre-pressed laminate used in the locker design and manufacturing process. 

Another area where our experience and expertise added value to project process was in the manufacture, supply and installation of unique and bespoke custom wall paneling with the use of designer plywood powder-coated for a pre-finished appearance and lower ongoing maintenance benefits for the client. 

Even though the project and health restrictions were complex, JFK Interiors Australia delivered on time and on specification as we now look forward to the next opportunity to work with Carey Baptist Grammar School, Monaco Hickey and Architectus.
